This page explains what data Challenge Planner collects, why, and what we do with it. Plain language, no dark patterns.

The Chrome extension

The current Challenge Planner Chrome extension stores everything locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. That includes your Anthropic API key, your skip list, your plan history, and your settings. None of this data is ever sent to us.

When you click "Plan my path", the extension makes two outbound network requests:

• To api.pathofexile.com — to detect the current league for your realm.
• To api.anthropic.com — to send your incomplete bundle data and receive the AI-generated plan. Your Anthropic API key authenticates this request directly. We never see it.

This website (challengeplanner.app)

If you sign up for launch notifications using the email form on the homepage, we collect:

• Your email address — to send you a single notification when the hosted version launches.
• Your IP address and timestamp — incidentally, to prevent abuse of the signup form.

We will not send you marketing emails, sell your address, or share it with anyone. After we email you about the launch, your email is removed unless you have separately created an account on the hosted service.

Cloudflare (our hosting provider) may collect standard server logs including IP address, user agent, and request paths for security and operational reasons. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The hosted version (coming soon)

The upcoming hosted version of Challenge Planner will require an account and a paid subscription. When that launches, this privacy policy will be updated to cover what additional data is collected (account email, payment information held by Stripe, plan-request audit logs for billing). You will be notified before any new data collection begins.

What we do not collect

• We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies on this site.
• The extension does not phone home, ping a server, or report usage statistics.
• We do not collect Path of Exile account information, character data, or anything beyond what is needed to plan your challenges (which never leaves your browser anyway).

Removing your data

To remove your email from the launch notification list, email wise.jeffery@gmail.com and ask. We will delete it within 7 days.

To remove all data the extension stores locally, uninstall the extension or click "Reset all settings" inside the extension's Options panel.
